If you’d like your guests to take home personalized prints of your big event, but don’t have the space for a photo booth, be sure to consider our Social Media Printing option, now available across Sydney.
We setup our printer & Wi-Fi on site at your event and turn your guests into little photographers, who then take all the pictures for us. Once they’ve taken a photo on their phone, they simply upload the picture onto a hashtag of your choice on the Instagram app. All photos posted using that specific social channel will be atomically printed by our on-site attendant within minutes, ready for your guests to collect and take home.

Whatsapp Printing
Similar to our Hashtag printer, we also offer a WhatsApp printing option, for a demographic that is less likely to have the Instagram app on their phone.
Guests will be provided with our Whatsapp number, which they can text their images to for instant printing. For guests that don’t have WhatsApp, they can simply text their images to our number, which we will receive via MMS for instant printing (no app required for the guests).

Mobile Printography is a great option if you’re looking to provide your guests the opportunity to take home prints, but don’t have the room for a backdrop, or would prefer more candid photos of your guests, at your event.
If you have a photographer on-site, we can partner with them to receive their photos & instant print them to share with your guests. Alternatively, if you don’t have a roving photographer or don’t want to distract them, our team can also rove with our own DSLR camera and take photos, ready for instant printing.

Do you offer Hashtag Printing?
Yes, Rapid Print Photobooth offers Hashtag printing. This means you select a Hashtag of your choice & instruct your guests at the event to post photos on their own devices under that hashtag via the Instagram app.
Your Rapid Print attendant will be-onsite with our mobile printer, personally monitoring the hashtag on Instagram & instantly printing any photos that are posted, ready to be personally distributed in person to your guests, at the event.
What is a WhatsApp Printer?
The WhatsApp Printer is a unique service that is not offered by any provider in Australia. While both Instagram & Whatsapp have similar user numbers (12-13 million each in Australia) Instagram offers unique problems for mobile printing, as guests with private profiles cannot share images to public Hashtags.
Another benefit of WhatsApp printing, is that guests who do not have WhatsApp, can opt to text to the number we provide guests, as an alternative to WhatsApp.
Just Like Hashtag printing, guests will instead message their images from their own device to our dedicated WhatsApp number, ready for your Rapid Print attendant to print and distribute on-site at your event.
How big are the pictures with your Mobile Printing?
Our Mobile Priting services offers 4×6″ sized prints (otherwise known as ‘post card’ size prints).
Can we personlise the prints?
Yes, we can add a watermark or branding to your package, prior to printing and distributing to your guests.
Can you combine Hashtag Printing with a photobooth?
Yes, absolutely, Rapid Print is one of the few providers that can combine mobile printing with a photobooth. Depending on your needs, we can provide a custom quote to ensure both the mobile printing and photobooth are adequately manned to service your guests.
In situations where we switch from photobooth to Mobile Printing, the price would just be an additional $100 on top of the standard Open Photobooth Hire cost. In situations where you require both the Photobooth & Mobile Printing to run concurrently, you would be looking at an additional $400 on top of the standard photobooth costs, to cover the additional printing + 2nd on-site attendant.
Can you print my photographer's photos, on-site at my event?
Yes, Rapid Print is one of the few providers in Australia that is qualified and experienced to work with professional photographers at events, for live instant printing. We have worked with wedding and corporate photographers, to ensure instant prints for your guests, live & on-site at your event.
We recommend you share your photographer’s contact details, so that we can communicate with them prior to the event, in order to work out the best way for them to share their photos with us as efficiently as possible (wifi, USB cable etc).

I saw a video of your prints in a photo holder, is this something you can provide?
Those photo holders are generally provided by our clients, which our attendants are happy to fill with our prints, before distributing to guests.
A search on Amazon showed 150 cardboard folders (available in black with gold or silver decorations, or white) for approximately $87 in 2026. If you plan on supplying these to us, please ensure the frames accommodate 4×6″ images.
If you prefer we supply, please ensure you let us know at least 6 weeks in advance, as most suppliers are based in China.
